Beirut’s port partially opens, thousands remain homeless

Truckers warned of fake quarantine text messages in Canada
freightwaves.comTruckers in Canada are being warned of fake text messages that incorrectly instruct them to self-isolate and direct them to a suspicious website.The text messages claim to come from the Canadian government and state, “All travelers must self-isolate for 14 days by law.” Truck drivers returning to Canada from the United States are exempt from the Canadian self-isolation requirement. CN adjusts operations amid strike at Port of Montreal
freightwaves.comCanadian railway CN (NYSE: CNI) is relying on port terminals in Halifax and elsewhere on the East Coast as longshore workers continue to strike at the Port of Montreal.“We are monitoring the situation at the Port of Montreal closely and we are in regular contact with the responsible authorities.
