    Maersk Line Closes Acquisition of Hamburg Sud

    Maersk Line has completed its acquisition of Hamburg Süd after final regulatory approval was granted this week, almost exactly a year after the proposed deal was announced. Read more here.

    Hapag-Lloyd completes integration with UASC

    German container line Hapag-Lloyd announced this week that it had successfully completed the integration of UASC into the group and expected to achieve significant cost reductions next year as a result of merger synergies. Read more here.

    The CBSA has scheduled maintenance of the production database for Saturday, December 2, from 2:50 to 6:20 am EST.
    The CFIA Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application will be unavailable during this time. This includes all incoming data and outbound messages, such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices.
