    Delta and Korean deepen air cargo cooperation

    Delta Air Lines Cargo and Korean Air Cargo are deepening their level of air cargo cooperation on the back of a wider joint venture between their respective parent airlines, which was launched last year after gaining anti-trust agreement to cooperate more closely commercially. Read more here.

    Trade war sparks more capacity cuts on transpacific container trades

    Container shipping lines on the transpacific trade this week continued to announce capacity cuts in response to the US-China trade war.
    Following last week’s news that both the 2M and The Alliance groupings would suspend a service each this summer, the latter announced this week it would also withdraw its PSW4 loop at the end of August. Read more here.


    CargoSmart teams with Oracle for blockchain

    OOCL’s container software arm, CargoSmart, has developed a blockchain solution for shipment documentation.
    In a release today, CArgoSmart said it has created a “digital baseline for trusted shipment documentation management” across the shipping and logistics industry.  Read more here.

    No danger after freight train derailment near Quebec Ontario border
