    An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777F Is On Fire In China

    An Ethiopian Boeing 777F has caught first at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The aircraft had flown in from Brussels overnight, touching down in China this morning. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but nobody is thought to be hurt. Read more here.
    Canada’s New Airline OWG Set To Fly To Cuba From The Fall

    Container shipping and supply chain consultancy Drewry believes ocean freight carriers will continue their practice of tactical sailing cancellations for the foreseeable future, due to the “still uncertain and risky outlook for trade and for the global shipping network”, recommending that shippers and forwarders carefully monitor the market and extend lead times to take account of potential operational delays. Read more here.
    Booming intra-Asia trade pushes carriers to launch more services

    MSC has become the latest shipping line to revamp its intra-Asia service offering amid strengthening China-Asean trade.
    From this week, MSC has updated four existing intra-Asia services and is launching a new South-east Asia loop named Seahorse, which links Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Jakarta, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Manila, Vung Tau and Laem Chabang. Read more here.
