The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is holding its two-day annual general meeting in Doha, Qatar, on Monday and Tuesday. Secret talks are under way to save AirBridgeCargo’s fleet and staff via a deal with Etihad Cargo.
The pair are said to be looking at ways to transfer the 747 fleet to Etihad’s AOC and set up a new entity for the aircraft, with remaining crew and staff moved to Abu Dhabi and European operations relaunched. Read more here (login required).

As ocean carriers adjust to the coastal shift of cargo from the US west coast to the east, MSC said it was “revamping” its transpacific network with next month’s launch of its Zephyr Asia-US Gulf service.
