    Air Canada Cargo Customer Service and Toronto Operations Interruption This Morning

    Due to construction at Air Canada Cargo’s facility at Toronto Pearson International Airport, a planned power outage will occur this morning from 8:30 to 10:30 ET.
    There will be no tendering or retrieval of freight during this period in Toronto.
    Customers contacting the Air Canada Cargo Customer Service Centre may experience a delay in response time during this period. Online Track and Trace and e-booking will not be impacted.

    Shanghai develops in-town check-in concept for its busy container port

    Shanghai port is launching on July 1 a de-facto in-town check-in service for containers bound for its offshore Yangshan deepwater terminals.
    Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) has signed with members of THE Alliance to use a new off-port container depot located on the mainland 32.5 km away from Yangshan. Read more here.
    ONE to offer more direct sailings from China to Southeast Asia

    JAPAN’s Ocean Network Express (ONE) has added two new direct services connecting China and Southeast Asia.
    Following the previously announced CID connecting China and Indonesia, ONE is to further expand the China-Southeast Asia network by introducing China Thailand Service (CTS) and the revamped Thailand Philippines Service (TP2). Read more here.
    HMM’s fleet of box ships increases, other top ocean carriers cut capacity

    EVERY deepsea carrier has reduced its operated capacity this year, except South Korea’s HMM, which is taking delivery of a series of the world’s largest vessels.
    And, in a double-whammy, the carrier has also seen nine ships, amounting to nearly 100,000 TEU, returned from its former 2M partners, according to new research from Alphaliner. Read more here.

    Canadian Airlines Set To End Social Distancing Measures Next Week
