Cargo ship CHUANG SHENG HAI suffered an explosion on board in the afternoon May 16 in vicinity 22 06N 114 00E, west of Dangazhen, Wanshan Archipelago, south of Hong Kong. 1 of 12 crew was killed by explosion, the rest. Read more here

HONG KONG port saw the decline in throughput accelerate in April, with overall volume down 9.3 per cent year on year to 1.6 million TEU, pulled down by a sharp drop in volumes among the mid-stream operators after non-Kwai Tsing throughput dived 16.7 per cent to 350,000 TEU. Read more here
