Frankfurt Airport handlers tackle truck congestion

Two of Frankfurt Airport’s major cargo handlers, Frankfurt Cargo Services (FCS) and LUG aircargo handling, are pioneering the compulsory use of a truck loading bay slot-booking system at their respective terminals from next month, in a bid to create a more-efficient flow of traffic to and from their warehouses. DP World Nhava Sheva to speed up cargo clearance and cut costs

DP World terminals located at India’s Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) are looking at new ways to enhance customer service and boost productivity.
DP World Nhava Sheva, in collaboration with local customs authorities, has launched “on-wheel examination and sampling” services for imports booked under the direct port delivery (DPD) programme, a measure designed to reduce dwell times at the port, reported IHS Media. Read more here.

EU reiterates threat to retaliate against US tariffs
